About the Role:
As a Classroom Nursing Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and healthcare professionals to support students with medical conditions, ensuring their safety and wellbeing throughout the school day. This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ health, confidence, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct support to students with medical needs, including administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
* Assist in creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
* Support students in accessing learning activities and maintaining engagement.
* Maintain accurate records of medical interventions and student wellbeing.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a healthcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
* A caring and patient approach to working with children and young people.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A relevant qualification in healthcare, nursing, or childcare is advantageous but not essential.
To work with GSL Education as a Classroom Nursing Assistant, you should:
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
