Role: Intermediate Clinician

It is an exciting period of growth for the company, as a new wheelchair service for Tower Hamlets will be established from 1st July 2025 to provide NHS wheelchair services including clinical assessments, specialist seating, delivery, repairs, and maintenance.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking to recruit a qualified, registered Clinician to join our brand-new Integrated Wheelchair Service clinical team. You will conduct assessments with NHS wheelchair users in various settings within the surrounding areas, ensuring an outstanding customer experience. You will demonstrate an empathic and resilient approach when faced with challenging situations and work collaboratively with customer service, logistics, and the wider clinical teams. You will manage your own caseload of patients with various mobility, postural, and pressure relief needs, maintaining best practices under the guidance of Clinical and Service Leads.

Key Responsibilities:

* Hold, prioritise, plan, and organise your own caseload of service users, including those with complex needs
* Work within professional standards and clinical guidelines, promoting best practice and performing all clinical duties
* Provide clinical advice to team members; may act as a lead for a specialism
* Have competence within the wheelchair services specialism, supported by theoretical knowledge and experience
* Supervise and allocate work to rehabilitation assistants, engineering technicians, and foundation-level clinicians
