Overview
Mobile Vehicle Technician providing servicing, maintenance and repair via prebooked appointments at customers' home address or place of work. This is a new and specialist division for the number one national breakdown company in the UK, with over 15 million members.
Must have right to work in the UK status.

Pay / salary: £40,170 OTE: Up to £52,000
Job type: Permanent / Full time role
Shift and schedule: Home based, working 40 hours per week across 5 days (Monday to Saturday) 8am - 8PM, working 1 in 4 Saturdays. 1 day of overtime per month = £3,000 additional per year; 2 days of overtime per month = £5,000 additional per year, completely optional - more flexibility, more reward.

Job Responsibilities
* Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) at customer selected location e.g., driveway, office car park.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
* Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
* Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
* Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
* Payment handling through card transactions.
* Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
* Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
Qualifications
* Minimum Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent).
* Minimum 2-year post-qualification hands‑on experience with vehicles, either in a workshop or mobile vehicle role.
* Ability to work independently, make decisions on the go, and follow procedures.
* Customer‑focused approach.
* Full UK driving licence – max 6 points, no bans.
