Our Sensory Impairment Team is recruiting a full-time, permanent Social Work Assistant based at Saltcoats Town Hall. While experience or qualification in British Sign Language is preferred, all qualifying applications will be considered. The role involves working with clients with sensory impairments to promote safe, independent living across North Ayrshire, providing advice, practical support, equipment assessments, and referrals. Supporting clients through the visual impairment registration process is also part of the role.

PVG (Adults)
This role involves regulated work with protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Applicants barred from working with protected adults are ineligible.
