Job dimensions
To manage and develop a technical Sealing & Bonding team. To provide technical support to distribution partners, customers, internal stakeholders & Bostik Academy.
Activities
1. Business Support: Provide technical support on all aspects of Bostik S&B products, by means of application and clear usage guidance, literature, and specification performances. Liaise with Bostik development team to evaluate products during the product development phases, ensuring technical sign off is implemented. A positive and inquisitive approach to provide solutions is required.
2. Benchmark testing of NPD & competitor analysis.
3. Support new technology within the UK business.
4. Participate in/design training & installation videos to be used for internal & external clients.
5. Distribution & Customer Support: Implement strategic training and technical advice relating to Sealing & Bonding products. Ensure team support is provided to our distribution partners by means of attendance at trade mornings, staff training seminars & sales meetings and trade shows.
6. The ability to organise training seminars with other Bostik stakeholders, to ensure impactful delivery is achieved.
7. Deliver training at both internal and external venues via Bostik Academy.
8. Maintain a continuous dialogue with partners and continue to grow relationships with contractors.
9. Technical compliance support: This will include attendance at trade body meetings/seminars. Work with category managers to ensure product certification and compliance regulations are up-to-date. Report market intelligence to the business.
10. NPD & Future Development: Work closely with the local/global R&D department in order to gain advanced knowledge of sealing and bonding products.

Lead and direct all technical activity for Sealing & Bonding. Achieve and exceed targets or working practices, succeeded through the implementation of agreed business strategies.
Qualifications / experience required
