Bromley High School is seeking an energetic and committed NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school community.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will ensure that all pupils are appropriately supported in their learning and wellbeing, be it academic, practical, behavioural, emotional or social. Working closely with teachers and our SENDCo, you will actively assist pupils in class, lead additional learning sessions or interventions, and provide support during extra-curricular activities, unstructured playtimes, and educational trips.
You will need a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. NVQ, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC) and relevant experience of supporting children in an educational establishment/setting. Previous experience of delivering phonics and reading interventions is essential, along with a proven ability to establish positive, supportive relationships with children. You will also possess excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills, along with a genuine commitment to helping young people thrive.
