Experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer – Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset

We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a well-respected business offering stable hours and career progression.
What we offer:
* Competitive salary of £16 to £19 per hour (£640 - £760 basic per week based on 40 hours) plus a bonus for time saved
* Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week – no weekends!

Key Responsibilities:
* Surface Preparation: sanding, cleaning, filling, masking for optimal paint adhesion
* Paint Mixing: selecting, mixing, tinting paints using computer software
* Application: spraying primers, base, and clear coats evenly with HVLP/airless guns
* Quality Control: inspecting finishes, performing touch-ups as needed
* Equipment Management: maintaining spray guns, compressors, and booths
* Safety & Compliance: strict adherence to PPE and environmental guidelines
Skills & Requirements:
* Strong attention to detail and colour matching ability
* Manual dexterity and knowledge of water-based paints
* Experience with various spray techniques and equipment
