We are looking for a manager who can lead a team to ensure that the delivery department operates efficiently, safely, within legal constraints, and provides the highest customer service standards. An experienced manager dedicated to customer satisfaction, pride in their work, and a proven track record of motivating and developing their team to improve delivery operations. Experience, knowledge, and skills in warehouse/transport are essential, based at one of our delivery locations.

Responsibilities
* Leading your team to ensure branch trading efficiency, safety, legal compliance, and high customer service standards.
* Managing delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
* Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and setting challenging payroll cost targets.
* Understanding the local market to provide excellent service and customer satisfaction.
* Managing your team to meet customer service requirements, engaging with customers, and using feedback for continuous improvement.
* Collaborating with regional teams to identify opportunities and develop or improve operational methods.
Requirements
* Previous experience in deliveries/transport is essential, along with:
* Management CPC qualification.
* Experience managing warehouse operations.
* Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to develop ideas and challenge teams to improve delivery services.
* Talent development and team motivation skills.
* Effective communication and stakeholder influence.
* Strong planning and organizational skills.
* A hands-on approach is beneficial.
