Description The Senior Management Accountant plays a key role in providing accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This position is responsible for management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders on M&A and onboarding businesses'.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee balance sheet reviews, accruals, and provisions
Support statutory accounts and audit processes
Lead the hub's mergers and acquisitions while driving a seamless onboarding process.
Manage, motivate and review work of a team of 2 in accounts payable
Prepare and review monthly management accounts with accurate commentary and variance analysis
Intercompany reconciliations
Cashflow forecasting
Key Requirements
Extensive experience in management accounting within a complex or fast-paced environment
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
High attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger picture
Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and compliance
Solid Microsoft Excel capability is important, with scope to build further.
Additional Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Significant experience in a management accounting or finance business partnering role
Experience of Xero, Netsuite and CCH desirable
