As we continue to grow, we are seeking to strengthen our Construction team with a Geotechnical Site Engineer, based out of our Stirling or Glasgow offices. This role will be primarily site-focused and will contribute to the delivery of our exciting upcoming geotechnical projects.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Site management and supervision of geotechnical sites and drilling activities with weekly progress reporting to the wider team, time tracking and independent self-discipline to deliver all work safely, on time and to budget.
* Collection of geotechnical information in support of geotechnical engineers and lead drillers in all drilling, logistics and maintenance activities as required.
General Responsibilities
* Open participation in safety culture and contribution to team discussions.
* Conducting in-situ testing in assistance of geotechnical engineers.
* Works planning and execution.
* Logistical and supervision support for geotechnical investigation campaigns.
* Professional team and client interaction.
* Attend regular meetings with Projects teams on site and at our yard / offices if necessary.
* Commercially focussed and cost conscious able to identify opportunities and improve efficiency.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week.
