Our client, Wilton Carpets Factory have dedicated themselves to crafting beautiful and durable wool carpets for a broad range of commercial environments without compromise. They are part of the fabric and heritage of the country, using the same site as 300 years ago when they started and continue to maintain relentless attention to the quality of what they produce.
To manage all raw material contracts and to ensure that they meet the required standards and are delivered on time, they are now looking for a Quality Control Manager to join their team in Salisbury, Wiltshire. You will also look after H&S and ISO within the factory as well as have the overall responsibility for production planning.
Quality Control Manager, the role:
1. QMS Systems making sure Health and Safety legislation is complied with; managing ISO systems within factory; overlooking carpets technical and testing certificates; chair ISO and H&S meetings; recommending solutions to existing processes to reduce waste
2. Materials purchase and help negotiate all raw material contracts; ensuring quality and standards of raw materials are correct; shade matching of yarn and production carpet; managing the distributions of supplies; monitoring inventory levels and access to the materials
