Job Description
We need a Qualified Psychologist who is passionate about helping people with a range of complex mental health needs. You will work across three Social Care services: Broughton Lodge, Lowry House, and Woodrow House. Your role will involve assessment, therapy, care planning, supervision, research and service development.
Your Day‑to‑Day
* Work 40 hours a week (3 days at Broughton Lodge, 1 day at Lowry House, 1 day at Woodrow House)
* Deliver psychological assessments & therapy to individuals & groups
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to develop care plans
* Provide training & supervision to colleagues and consultation to teams
* Conduct clinical research and disseminate outcomes through conferences and publications
We Are Looking For Someone Who Is
* HCPC registered Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist
* Experience within a CAMHS setting preferred but not essential
* Trained in complex therapies such as Schema‑focused, Cognitive‑Analytic and DBT
* Capable of treating difficulties such as self‑harm, physical & verbal aggression, history of sexual offending and drug & alcohol problems
* Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs
