Welsh-Speaking Teachers, Lecturers & Support Staff (Cardiff & South Wales)
Pay:
Lecturers & Teachers: £28.00 - £40.00 per hour (depending on role and experience)
Support Staff: £13.69 - £16.00 per hour (depending on role and experience)Empowering Learning Cardiff is seeking Welsh-speaking education professionals to join schools and FE Colleges across Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, and the wider South Wales region. We are recruiting for multiple positions, including:
Welsh-Speaking Teachers (Primary, Secondary & FE)
Welsh-Speaking Subject Lecturers (across a range of disciplines)
Welsh-Speaking Support Staff (LSAs, Pastoral Support, Admin & Exam Officers)Role responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Welsh and/or bilingually
Supporting learners aged 11-19+ across schools and FE Colleges
Preparing schemes of work, lessons, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements
Providing tailored support to learners of mixed abilities
Contributing to the promotion and preservation of the Welsh language in educationRequirements for Registration:
Fluent Welsh language skills (spoken and written)
For Teachers & Lecturers:
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
Relevant subject degree or vocational qualification (Level 4+)
For Support Staff:
Previous classroom, learning support, or administrative experience desirable
Minimum Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent)
Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
