As a school cleaner, you will play an essential role in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students and staff. This is a part-time, permanent position with a set shift of 15:30 to 18:30, Monday to Friday, giving you the opportunity to work after school hours. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas. Emptying bins and recycling. Cleaning windows, walls, and other surfaces as required. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Ensuring cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored correctly. Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures at all times. Reporting any maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager. Requirements: Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a school or educational setting, would be beneficial. Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service is required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
