About This Opportunity To provide service support as detailed in the Main Objectives for the Karndean Designflooring Retail Account base within a post code defined region to increase the sales volume and margin performance while managing cost within the budget forecast. How You Will Contribute To provide sales support to the account base in the form of: Order intake to agreed targets defined by budget forecast. Key account management with specific accounts to maintain long term relationships and maximise sales opportunities. To act as the key interface for account base, problem solving and objection handling to achieve resolution. Management of the placement of Point of Sale to increase range penetration and reduce competitor footprint. Vantage accreditation audits twice yearly in accordance with the Vantage Charter to develop appropriate accounts through channels. Sales of ancillary products such as cleaning & maintenance, adhesives and tools to agreed targets defined by budget forecast. Initial management for the registration and price negotiation of commercial projects for retail accounts in territory within company guidelines. Initial management of the new account application process to produce reports and recommendation to line management to maximise distribution opportunities within territory. Point of contact for the account holder for initial sales inquiries and general or technical services issues. Structured business planning on a quarterly basis. To provide field marketing support in conjunction with Regional Marketing Executive. To provide support in the form of visual merchandising to improve the consumer retail experience in store. To provide sales and product training support for accounts aligned to product launch activity, new account openings and Continued Professional Development (CPD) for account holders and their staff. What Will Make You Successful in This Role Skilled in account management and business development. Leadership skills. Highly driven and self-motivated. IT literate with Microsoft Office skills. Experience of CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics). Able to manage own diary to guidelines. Able to produce written reports and detailed business plans on a periodical or ad-hoc basis. Professional, enthusiastic, flexible, creative, disciplined, ambitious, team player. Able to demonstrate the ability to tailor a presentation to an individual or group at to a relevant level. Able to demonstrate ability to give training demonstrations. Knowledge of construction/specification industry an advantage. Retail, contract, specification, house builder selling experience an advantage. Proven track record in sales and service management. All-round sales management and Key Account Management to manage an expanding product portfolio. Ability to pioneer new sales and product opportunities.
