Their services cater to a diverse clientele, and we operate throughout the UK, offering the opportunity to be involved in exciting projects.\n\nMain Duties:\n\n * Preparation of Transport Assessments and Transport Statements\n\n * Preparation of Travel Plans as well as Travel Plan Coordination\n\n * Preparation and presentation of technical data and drawings\n\n * Undertaking junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG\n\n * Liaison with clients, contractors and local / national authorities as required\n\n * To ensure that all assigned tasks / jobs are delivered on-time and to budget;\n\n * To support Team Leaders in the delivery of comprehensive advice to clients on Highways & Transport matters from preliminary advice / feasibility work.\n\n * Undertaking site appraisals/visits and designing surveys, through to providing input to written reports and presentational material.\n\n * Ensuring that all electronic and paper files on projects they are kept up-to-date.\n\nRequirements:\n\nEducation/ Experience:\n\n * Degree in applicable subject; Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering\n\n * Understanding / experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processes\n\nTechnical Skills:\n\n * Advanced use of Microsoft Office software packages\n\n * Good levels of numeracy, including a good understanding of spreadsheets.\n\n * Use of AutoCAD (desirable)\n\n * Working experience / understanding of ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG\n\nCompetencies:\n\n * Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to clearly communicate findings from complex data\n\n * Ability to work easily and accurately with numbers\n\n * Confident written and verbal communication skills\n\nEducation:\n\nBachelor's (required)\n\nWork authorisation:\n\nUnited Kingdom (required)\n\nLocation: Fleet, Hampshire\nSalary (depending on experience):\n\n * Graduate level - £24,000-£28,000pa\n\n * Assistant Transport Planner - £28,000-£34,000pa\n (BOTH SALARIES DEPENDENT ON EXP)
