Finance & Reporting Manager

360 Recruitment are seeking a proactive, detail-focused and process driven Finance Controller & Reporting Manager to lead key financial processes and deliver insight-driven reporting that helps us maximise individual consultant profitability and operational compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Compliance
• Perform all credit control functions — posting cash, monitor debtor days, chase overdue invoices, monitor credit limits and maintain strong client relationships.
• Produce and submit VAT returns, P32s, and the HMRC Intermediaries Report (Quarterly) in compliance with HMRC deadlines and accuracy standards.
• Ensure financial compliance and integrity across systems and processes.
Sales Analytics & Process Reporting
• Generate clear, insightful performance reports on sales consultants, using Sage and Vincere data to identify trends, underperformance, and profit-driving behaviours.
• Collaborate with directors to interpret financial and operational data that will influence business strategy and improve bottom-line performance.
• Build reports that track consultants margin performance, and process adherence.
• Monitor and flag non-compliance with internal procedures to ensure business processes are followed effectively.
Team Oversight
• Line-manage and support the finance team including, Assistant Accountant and Payroll Administrators, ensuring timely, accurate outputs and continuous development.
• Oversee and quality-assure payroll, though not directly processing it.

Process Improvement
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, credit control, and operational finance workflows.
• Implement improvements that drive efficiency, accuracy, and visibility in financial and operational reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a finance, reporting, or management accounting role.
• Proven experience in credit control, VAT, P32s, and HMRC Intermediaries Reports.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 and CRM/reporting tools.
• Demonstrable experience in producing sales performance analytics and interpreting commercial metrics.
• Experience managing or supervising a small finance team.
