Music Services Supervisor (Academic Liaison)

The Role
The Music Services Supervisor (Academic Liaison) fulfils a key role in supporting teaching and research at the Faculty of Music. The role holder is responsible for day-to-day operations at the music faculty library and for projects and activities around music focused academic liaison across Cambridge University Libraries and Archives.
As Music Services Supervisor You Will
* Deliver high quality user services.
* Develop and deliver teaching sessions on music information skills and resources.
* Ensure collections are discoverable and reading list materials are available.
* Liaise with the academic community to ensure all music information needs are met.
* Oversee day-to-day management.
What We Are Looking For
* Music literacy and a good understanding of music as an academic subject.
* Experience of developing and delivering library services.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Digital literacy, such as an understanding of metadata requirements for music materials or the potential role of AI in providing music services.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a user facing environment.
