National Account & Business Development Manager
Barking
£45,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week

We’re looking for a confident, relationship-driven National Account & Business Development Manager to help us grow our presence across the country and build long-term partnerships with leading chefs, venues and foodservice operators.

What you’ll be doing
This is a true dual-role opportunity combining national account management with new business development.
Grow and nurture key accounts
* Build strong, trusted relationships with national foodservice groups and hospitality operators
* Deliver annual growth plans aligned with company targets
* Run monthly business reviews and weekly performance reporting
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our product range
* Support pricing, tenders and contract renewals
Win new business
* Identify and secure new national and regional customers
* Build a strong pipeline across hospitality, stadia, education, healthcare, travel and leisure
* Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract award
* Create strategic entry plans for high-value target groups
* Represent us at industry events and exhibitions
* Contribute to growth strategies and forecasting
How success will be measured
You’ll play a key role in driving our commercial performance through:
* Revenue growth (new and existing customers)
* Strong gross margins
* New business wins and account retention
* Pipeline value and conversion
* Tender success rate
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking someone who is commercially driven, confident and relationship-focused:
* Proven success in National Account Management within foodservice or FMCG
* A track record of winning new business
* Experience supplying contract caterers or hospitality groups
* Strong negotiation and presentation skills
* Solid understanding of the foodservice industry
