Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in delivering a diverse range of construction projects. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through to final account. The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
Managing all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects.
Preparing cost plans, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
Procuring subcontractors and negotiating terms and rates.
Preparing and issuing subcontract documentation.
Assessing and processing subcontractor applications and payments.
Valuing variations and change orders.
Preparing interim valuations and applications for payment.
Monitoring project costs, risks, and profitability.
Producing cost reports and presenting findings to senior management.
Managing final accounts with clients and subcontractors.
Identifying and mitigating commercial risks.
Supporting project teams with commercial advice and guidance.
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract, including JCT and NEC.
Excellent commercial awareness and cost management skills.
Experience in subcontract procurement and contract administration.
Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant commercial software.
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred).
