We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Isle of Wight to assist with the appointment of an HR Advisor, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £24.50 - £31.37 per hour
Responsibilities:
* Provide expert HR advice on disciplinary, capability, sickness absence, and grievance matters
* Manage your own caseload of formal employee relations cases
* Support and coach managers on policy application and best practice
* Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and guidance materials
* Design and deliver training on HR policies and procedures
* Support continuous improvement in HR processes and service delivery
* Strong experience in a generalist HR advisory role
* Proven background in handling complex casework
* Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
* Experience working in the public sector (preferably within Adult Social Care)
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
