We have an exciting opportunity to join the RCT Fleet Services team as a Vehicle Technician, (Mechanic/Fitter).
Based at our workshop in Treforest Industrial Estate, we are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced technicians to work on our diverse fleet of vehicles from small vans to Refuse Collection Vehicles.
Reporting to the Workshop Chargehand you will be expected to undertake all inspections and repairs to current DVSA regulations. You will perform a key role within RCT to keep our vehicles on the move.
This is a 37-hour-a-week post and covers a two-shift working pattern, (including an on-call rota for which you will receive a pay enhancement), which is currently operates as follows:
Week 1: 06:00 to 14:00 Monday to Thursday / 06:00 to 13:30 Friday.
Week 2: 13:30 to 21:30 Monday to Thursday / 11:30 to 19:00 Friday.

You will be based within the Fleet Services section of the Frontline Services division at Tŷ Glantaf, Unit B23, Taffs Fall Rd, Treforest Industrial Estate, Pontypridd.
