Overview

Charity Governance Administrator role with the company LS-TEN based in Leeds, United Kingdom. This vacancy is in the Engineering field. Responsibilities

* Provide confidential and efficient administrative support to the Charity Trustees, Charity Executive, the School, its committees and governance meetings.
* Operate in a professional manner as part of the charity and school team; act as a central point of contact for trustees and committee members.
* Safeguard confidential data and ensure its security.
* Governance Administration: work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Compliance Officer; support the Charity Governance and Executive teams with administrative tasks.
* Meeting preparation including managing agendas and invitations.
* Take and prepare meeting minutes; note taking.
* Manage governance email account and proofread documentation.
* Review and update policies and other process materials.
* Note: some late afternoon/evening work with approximately 12 meetings per year on different days; time spent attending meetings is included in the stated working hours.

* To safeguard children and vulnerable adults from harm and to report concerns in accordance with LS-TEN's safeguarding policies and procedures.
* To foster good relationships and advance equality of opportunity between different groups and eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
* The Charity is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure Barring Service Check.


Working Hours

2 to 6 hours per week, typically scheduled Mon - Friday 15:30 - 19:30.
