Bluebird Care Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset are seeking an experienced care coordinator to join our team.
The Care Coordinator role is more than just rota management. You will be responsible for supporting the Management team with business growth and ensuring we are always delivering the highest possible standard of care.
We pride ourselves on delivering care that truly meets the needs of the individual we support, and your role will be fundamental to ensuring this happens every day by matching customers and carers not only based on availability, but also personality.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure Care Experts are appropriately allocated to customers so that care is delivered on time, safely and in line with customers wishes (as agreed in their care and support plan).
* Working within the coordination team
* Rostering staff to provide a safe & efficient delivery of service to our customers.
* To take joint responsibility for the provision of care in your allocated locality.
* Liaise with other professionals involved in our customer’s care.
* To support with the On-Call service during out of hours.
About you
* You have an excellent knowledge of domiciliary care provision
* Experience in using a scheduling system to allocate visits
* You're able to work part of a team and use your own initiative
* Highly organised
* Great spoken and written communication skills
* You must be confident in your IT skills
