Business Development Executive

Were seeking a driven, proactive Lead Business Development Executive to play a key role in the front end of the mergers and acquisitions process, helping identify and develop high-value acquisition opportunities.
The Role:
* Identify and engage UK-based companies aligned with the acquisition strategy
* Proactively grow the database through outbound calls, email campaigns, and social media outreach
* Use CRM and marketing data to build and nurture strong client relationships
* Attend trade shows and industry events to expand market presence
* Conduct cold calls and face-to-face meetings with senior stakeholders
* Lead first-line conversations with target businesses, converting leads into actionable opportunities
About You:
1. Proven experience in a client-facing role within financial services and/or the mergers and acquisitions space
2. Highly proactive, analytical, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
3. Strong relationship-building and communication skills
