Apprenticeship Overview
This role is an Occupational Therapy Assistant Apprenticeship that will lead to a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility to register with the Health and Care Professions Council.
The apprenticeship lasts three years and combines approximately 20% on-the-job academic study with practical experience under a qualified Occupational Therapist.
Locations: Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole & Dorset areas.
Responsibilities
* Work with a diverse range of service users to provide essential care that helps people overcome barriers to daily activities.
* Participate in academic study and training alongside clinical mentors.
* Support service delivery across multiple settings under the supervision of a clinical mentor.

* Passion, empathy and a desire to start or develop a career in Occupational Therapy.
* Demonstrable compassion, commitment and respect in line with NHS values and behaviours.
* Flexibility to work across more than one employer.
* Commitment to completing a three-year apprenticeship and the required curriculum.
