The CNC Miller setter operator will support production andprocesses for aluminium components are optimised, reliable, and efficient. This hands-on role is responsible for proving new programs, setting and operating 5-Axis milling machines.CNC Miller Setter Operator Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain 5-axis CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance.
* Prove new CNC programs and commission fixtures and cutting tools.
* Monitor dimensional reports, adjust offsets, and improve process capability.
* Develop and maintain process documentation
* Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance to resolve process issues.
CNC Miller Setter Operator Essentials:
* Proven CNC machine setting experience within fast movingproduction environments.
* Skilled in 5-axis high-speed machining of aluminium.
* Competence in G & M code program editing(preferably Siemens controls).
* Strong understanding of tooling and fixture design principles.
