Job Title: Graduate Behaviour Learning Support Assistant

We’re looking for a Graduate Behaviour Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Northumberland, supporting young people who deserve more than just a seat in the classroom—they deserve someone who listens, who understands, and who doesn’t give up.
Our school works with children who face significant social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Many have experienced more disruption and difficulty than most adults ever will. Your role is to be the person who helps them trust again, to believe that learning is for them, and that they deserve a bright future.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing tailored one-to-one support for pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
* Being a calm, steady presence, helping pupils navigate emotional challenges
* Working alongside teachers, families, and other professionals to develop individual behaviour plans
* Encouraging and celebrating progress—big or small
* Helping pupils develop self-confidence, emotional resilience, and positive routines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
