Hours of Work: Monday Friday, 7am – 3pm.
Responsibilities
* Carry out instruction of canteen supervisor
* Ensure food safety is maintained at all times
* Assist with food preparation, cooking and serving food to staff
* Ensure all food is handled and served correctly
* Carry out cleaning duties of the kitchen, canteen and surrounding areas as required, ensuring cleaning is carried out in accordance with food safety requirements
* Support the Canteen supervisor in managing resources efficiently so as to minimise waste and to adhere to organisations green objectives
Knowledge and Skills
* The ideal candidate will wish to work in a food provision and fast paced customer services environment.
* The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
* This position is temporary.
