This is an exciting opportunity to join the Neurophysiology Directorate in a substantive post at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB). ABUHB is seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join the Neurophysiology Team. This new post is based in St Woolos Hospital; the post holder will provide dedicated comprehensive neurophysiology service for both inpatients and outpatients.
Main duties of the job
Clinical activity will entail providing a comprehensive neurophysiology service. Services include outpatient/inpatient EEG, long‑term monitoring (includes ambulatory EEG, Home VTEL and inpatient video telemetry), all modalities of evoked potentials, physiologist‑led NCS clinics and consultant‑led NCS/EMG clinics.
The role is varied in providing comprehensive neurophysiology care for both adults and paediatrics in a dedicated setting. As a senior member of the department, the candidate will deliver clinical excellence within Clinical Neurophysiology and provide a wide range of clinical neurophysiological investigations for paediatric and adult populations. This will require collaborative working with colleagues within and external to the Trust.

This position involves Regulated Activity with adults and children as defined by the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act (amended by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012) and the following checks will be undertaken following any conditional offer:

Salary
£110,240 to £160,951 a year per annum pro rata
