Role Description
Title: Activity Leader – Technology Department
Location: Lisburn (travel to nearby schools required)
Positions Available: 1 Full-Time & 1 Part-Time
We are recruiting two enthusiastic Activity Leaders to deliver our Technology Clubs across primary schools. This role is hands-on and involves leading fun, beginner-friendly tech activities using our equipment, resources and activity plans.
Activities include:
* Basic coding
* Primary School Robotics
* Gaming-based learning
* Meta Quest VR sessions
You don’t need to be a tech expert - just someone who enjoys technology and is confident working with children.
Full-Time Role (approx. 30–37.5 hours per week)
* Mix of school-based delivery, equipment management and programme preparation
* Opportunity to support camps, events and specialist tech programmes
* Ideal for someone wanting to grow into a senior or specialist role
Part-Time Role (8–20hours per week)
* Primarily after-school club delivery (2pm–4:00pm) or holiday camps (9am - 3pm)
* Ideal for students, classroom assistants, or those seeking flexible work
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
* Confident working with primary-aged children
* Interest in technology, gaming, coding or STEM
* Strong communication and a positive attitude
* Reliable, organised and comfortable leading a group
* Willing to complete an AccessNI check
Desirable (but not required)
* Experience in youth work, tutoring, coaching or summer schemes
* Experience with basic coding, robotics, gaming or STEM
* Studying or qualified in IT, computing, education, engineering, games design, or a related field
* Basic project coordination experience
