We are supporting a company based in Worthing who are recruiting for a Technical Manager on a permanent basis. This role offers full-time and part time hours (Monday to Friday, 32-40 hours per week) and paying a salary between £35k-£50k per annum (DOE). This is fully office based with free parking on-site. Duties will include: Responding promptly and professionally to inbound and outbound enquiries dealing with quality issues Managing on-site audits and completing documentation Maintaining the QMS and document control Training the GMP audit requirements through the operations team and ensuring correct actions are taken and recorded when required Ensuring taste panel exercises are conducted Collecting samples for third party testing, following schedules and ensuring records are updated and sent to the lab when required Responsible for the collection and maintenance samples and swabbing Overseeing the process and suggesting improvements to help implement changes for the business Carrying out quality checks, investigating quality issues, updating production records, and ensuring orders are labelled correctly Organising and attending meetings when required Dealing with customer complaints and queries in a professional and timely manner Monitoring returns of goods to ensure these are controlled and updated efficientlyTo be successful, you must have at least 3 years' experience in a Technical or Quality Assurance role or similar within food manufacturing. You must have experience writing technical documents and implementing changes, as well as having excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
