Office & Fleet Administrator

Monday – Friday 07:30am – 16:00pm
Up to £30k DOE
We are seeking an organised and proactive administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a busy construction services business. This role combines office administration, operational compliance, fleet coordination, and subcontractor support within a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within construction, logistics, transport, fleet, or operational administration and will be comfortable working within a forward thinking business.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing reception duties and handling incoming calls
Processing operational paperwork and supporting tender administration
Assisting with transport and vehicle compliance requirements
Coordinating vehicle inspections, servicing schedules, and MOT administration
Monitoring compliance processes, records, and reporting requirements
Maintaining fleet records, trackers, and related documentation
Coordinating vehicle repairs, defects, and insurance-related claims
Supporting subcontractor onboarding and starter documentation
Booking training courses and managing certification renewals
Carrying out driving licence and compliance checks
Maintaining vehicle management systems and administrative records
Managing office supplies and operational purchasing requirements
Liaising with suppliers, contractors, clients, and external service providers
Maintaining spreadsheets, shared folders, and internal administrative systems
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in construction, transport, logistics, fleet, or operational administration highly desirable
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders
Experience supporting compliance or operational processes advantageous
Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
