Main duties of the job
Overview of Essential Responsibilities
To develop and maintain effective communications and excellent working relations with all directorates, internal and external researchers, external academic research partners and other relevant stakeholders. Preparation of patient pathways for research, communicating to ensure all protocol time points are met for research participants and, recognising onward impact of trial treatment's and breach of protocols if delays take place.
To liaise with therapy leads, Associate AHP Director and Senior Operational Manager (SOM) to manage capacity and demand for research, offering explanations and ensuring all avenues have been exhausted before declining a research study.
To liaise directly with the R&D facilitators to ensure all approvals are received in a timely fashion in accordance with the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Higher level objective "Time to Target" time frames for all research applications.
To formulate agendas and chair therapy research meetings communicating effectively and appropriately at all levels.
Working alongside Divisional Research Lead, Associate AHP Director, SOM and therapy leads to develop therapeutic services research provision strategies.
