A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their team. The successful candidate will work independently while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship, ensuring top-quality products for clients. This role involves interpreting technical drawings and fabricating a variety of components.
Responsibilities
* Reading technical drawings and taking accurate measurements
* Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components
* Using hand tools, drills, riveters, and welding equipment
* Grinding, finishing, and ensuring components meet quality specifications
* Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to specification
Requirements
* Skilled in handling and fabricating a range of metals
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
* Familiarity with workshop tools and equipment
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Understanding of health and safety procedures in a workshop environment
Working Hours
40 hours per week Monday to Friday
