Job Description:
As a sporting coordinator, you will be responsible for the operational and sporting coordination of the Junior World Rally Championship.
You will also support the organisation and development of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC). This role offers the opportunity to play an active part in the strategic evolution of both championships and contribute to the excellence of FIA rallying worldwide.
You will report to the WRC Category Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (ASNs, organisers, WRC consultants)
* Manage championship registrations and monitor event registrations
* Oversee the accreditation process for championship
* Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all official championship documents
* Identify and propose improvements to enhance the quality and visibility of the WRC and JWRC
Event support – JWRC (Max 6 events/year):
* Act as FIA Championship coordinator during JWRC events
* Assess on-site conditions and services for JWRC competitors
* Present detailed reports after each event
* Serve as liaison with all relevant stakeholders: ASNs, promoters, organisers, competitors, officials
Delegate coordination:
* Coordinate communication with FIA delegates and consultants
Reporting:
* Collect reports from FIA officials (sporting, safety, media, technical delegates)
* Support governance and regulatory processes
* Assist in preparing WRC Commission meetings
* Draft and follow-up on sporting regulations as approved by WMSC
* Support FIA seminars and officials’ summit organization
Championship calendar management:
* Monitor and review calendar applications submitted by ASNs
Communication and website coordination:
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date championship information on fia.com
* Update standings and classifications on the FIA website
Profile:
* University degree, preferably in Sports Management or related field
* Strong rallying knowledge
* Experience as co-driver, team coordinator, or event organiser is a plus
* Familiarity with FIA regulations
* Understanding of legal and governance frameworks is advantageous
* Fluent in English; French or Spanish is a plus
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
* Excellent communication skills; able to interact with diverse stakeholders
* Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities
