Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Warehouse Supervisor - Nights to support operations at their Slough site.
Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor - Nights will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse during night operations. You will be responsible for overseeing warehouse activities, managing a team of operatives, and ensuring freight is processed efficiently and safely to meet operational deadlines.Key responsibilities include:
3. Supervising the night shift warehouse team to ensure operational targets are achieved
4. Coordinating inbound and outbound freight movements in line with transport schedules
5. Ensuring all goods are handled, sorted, and dispatched accurately
6. Monitoring productivity, workflow, and staff performance during the shift
7. Maintaining high standards of health & safety and warehouse compliance
8. Investigating and resolving operational issues or delays during the night shift
9. Communicating effectively with transport, operations, and day shift teams to ensure continuity
10. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations
11. Ensuring accurate scanning, documentation, and freight tracking
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have a strong background in warehouse or freight operations and experience supervising teams within a fast-paced logistics environment.You will ideally have:
12. Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role
13. Experience within freight, parcel, or logistics distribution environments
14. Strong leadership and team management skills
15. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-critical operation
16. Good understanding of warehouse processes, scanning systems, and freight handling
17. Knowledge of health & safety procedures within warehouse environments
18. Strong communication and organisational skills
19. Flexibility to work permanent night shifts
