We are pleased to be working with a well‑established Scottish law firm that is recruiting a Commercial Conveyancing Solicitor to join its busy team in Ayrshire. This opportunity has arisen due to retirement within the department and offers the chance to take on a varied and established caseload within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handling a broad range of commercial conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, leasing and associated security work.
2. Managing rural property transactions, including farms and land, and supporting renewable energy‑related conveyancing.
3. Providing advice on commercial property issues, title examination, drafting and negotiating relevant documentation.
4. Supporting corporate clients on asset and share purchase/sale transactions where property elements are involved.
The firm is seeking a solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE, with strong experience in commercial conveyancing. Exposure to rural property work is desirable, and candidates should be confident managing their own caseload with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively are essential. The role is not suited to an NQ, given the current team structure.
You will be joining a friendly and well‑established practice with a strong local reputation. Flexible working is available, with part‑time options from three days per week. The firm offers a competitive salary depending on experience, along with opportunities for long‑term progression.
If this role sounds of interest, please contact Cameron or Teddie for a confidential discussion. (Assignment 18326)
