Responsibilities and duties of the Field Service Engineer role
Reporting to the Head of Operations you will:
* Assist with planned inspections and maintenance in line with legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements
* Support reactive maintenance activities including fault diagnosis and resolution
* Carry out site surveys as required
* Compile accurate documentation for internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
* Maintain detailed electrical testing records, High Voltage documentation and safety paperwork suitable for audit
* Ensure work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost and productivity targets
* Comply fully with company Health & Safety policies and procedures
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent)
* C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection
* 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (18th preferred)
* At least one year's maintenance experience within industrial, commercial or domestic environments
* Full UK driving licence
