Headstart On The Hill is a well-established and nurturing nursery based in Chester, dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Baby Room Manager to join our team and lead our baby room with care, creativity, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the baby room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for babies aged 0-2 years.
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's development and well-being.
* Supervise, support, and mentor a team of early years practitioners.
* Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times.
* Complete observations, assessments, and reports to support each child's learning journey.
What We're Looking For
* Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education/Childcare.
* Previous experience working with babies and in a room leader or management role.
* Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A warm, caring, and professional approach to childcare.
* Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
