Infrastructure Engineer | £300-£365p/day (Inside IR35) | West Yorkshire (3 days on site) | 6 month contract (initially) | Data center
We're looking for an Infrastrcuture Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise testing environment based within a data centre setting in West Yorkshire.
This role sits within a dedicated lab function responsible for pre-production validation and solution testing. Understanding enterprise infrastructure end-to-end will be key with this role.
You'll be responsible for:
* Operating and maintaining a large enterprise lab environment
* Translating infrastructure requirements into structured test builds
* Validating firewall, switching, storage and virtualisation configurations
* Supporting enterprise-level compute, storage and network environments
* Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues
* Managing workflows and documentation via JIRA
Essential Experience
1. Strong VMware experience (enterprise virtualisation environments)
2. Deep knowledge of firewall technologies
3. Experience working with Juniper networking environments
4. Hands-on experience with enterprise switches
5. Block storage and enterprise storage technologies
