Role Description
We are seeking a Principal/Associte Structural Engineer to join our expert team on a full-time basis, working on-site in our Exeter location. The client facing role involves leading and managing structural engineering projects, conducting structural analyses, and performing advanced calculations. Responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, utilizing CAD tools for design, developing innovative structural solutions, and delivering quality results tailored to client requirements. The candidate will also contribute to building the team, mentoring less experienced team members and ensuring project timelines are met.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles, methods, and practices
* Ability to perform advanced Calculations and Structural Analysis for project specifications
* Experienced in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating structural designs and drawings
* Strong project management, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
* Excellent communication and client engagement abilities
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartered status would be advantageous
* Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
