What You’ll Be Doing As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll lead and contribute to building services design projects from concept to completion. You'll be client-facing, technically hands-on, and involved in a wide range of responsibilities, including: Developing detailed electrical designs and tender documentation Preparing technical specifications, reports, and cost plans Coordinating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams Leading or supporting projects through all RIBA stages Assisting with fee proposals, resource planning, and project scheduling Mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices Staying up to date with evolving design standards and regulations ✅ What We’re Looking For We’re interested in professionals who bring: A solid background in Electrical Building Services Design (HND or degree-qualified) Experience in sectors such as healthcare, education, and commercial developments Familiarity with relevant design standards and industry software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech) Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset Membership of CIBSE or working toward it (preferred but not essential) Culture & Benefits This consultancy is known for its supportive, inclusive culture and genuine focus on work-life balance.
