Perfect Personnel are cureently working with a client based in Bodford who are seeking a maintenance technician to join their team. Multi-skilled computer literate Maintenance Technician who will ideally be BTEC Mechanical and Electrically qualified, and having both mechanical and electrical problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ensuring that Safety First and Quality Always is a primary consideration when undertaking all Maintenance tasks Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills along with the ability to work under pressure and work effectively alone or as part of a team. The individual will leverage technical experience, from site facilities, mechanical and electrical systems to maintain production equipment and Site Service functions, ensuring continuity of production and facility services to all areas of the Bidford on Avon manufacturing plant. This will involve working on rotating shifts 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday with occasional overtime and weekend works as required. Responsible for performing inspections, stocking inventories of critical and mainstream spares, scheduling repairs, carrying out Planned Preventative and Corrective Maintenance, solving problems and facilitating conditions to enable us to best serve our employees and our customers Key Responsibilities * To carry out, the timely execution of preventative planned maintenance to production equipment and site services * To include (but not limited to) Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems * Update TPM system tasks accordingly on IFS system * Liaise with other departments to ensure service requirements are met * Carry out unplanned breakdown repairs to production equipment and site services as required * Maintenance and repair of buildings, building services and surrounding areas * Maintain and update assigned preventive maintenance schedule requirements * Maintaining and updating records on IFS system * Maintaining stock of spares and consumable parts * Liaise with and supervise external contractors whilst on site in order to ensure all relevant Health & Safety policies are adhered to without fail. * Carry out statutory testing requirements and maintain records (i.e., fire alarm testing, electrical testing etc) * Manage maintenance contractors when on site Qualifications and Additional Role Requirements * Demonstrate a good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace * 18th Edition BS7671 Qualification * Be able to read both mechanical & electrical schematic drawings * Basic plumbing skills * IT Literate * Participation in the site call out rota. * Out of normal hours/weekend working as required by the business needs. * Participation in the 'Emergency Response' team. * Key holder
