The Team
Our Japan sales team combines global resources with deep local expertise, working closely with Japan’s leading financial institutions to deliver innovative data‑driven solutions. Responsibilities and Impact
* Drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities with Japan’s commercial banks, insurance companies, and asset management firms.
* Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers, ensuring trust and sustained client satisfaction.
* Conduct tailored product demonstrations and presentations, addressing specific challenges faced by Japanese financial institutions.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including product specialists and client support, to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support for Japanese clients.
* Develop in‑depth understanding of the Japanese competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and client needs.
* Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of service and client relationship quality.
Basic Required Qualifications
* 3–10 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services or technology solutions
* Native‑level Japanese (written and spoken) and business‑level English communication skills
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets
* Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
* Familiarity with Japanese business etiquette and a consultative, relationship‑focused sales approach
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience selling financial data, analytics, or technology solutions to institutional clients
* Established network within financial services industry (banks, asset managers, securities firms)
* Knowledge of capital markets, investment processes, and relevant regulatory environment
