We currently require a Production Operative / Grinder for our client in Newry, to carry out a variety of activities within the production process. Our client is regarded as the foremost manufacturer in their industry, setting new standards with their products through relentless focus on quality, innovation, reliability and safety. The Main duties are: Use appropriate machinery such as a grinder, in the manner instructed to process components/products to meet production requirements. Move and position components/products using overhead crane or other lifting equipment. Ensure that optimum performance and required quality standards are maintained through to finished product stage. Clean and maintain tools and equipment in safe working order and in peak production condition. Ensure all health & safety systems and standards are adhered to and drive commitment to a safe working environment with a high standard of general housekeeping. Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by the Managing Director. They aren't fixed on Formal qualifications as they would prefer to hear from those with production or factory experience looking for a fantastic opportunity in the Newry area, although Full training will be provided. Typical hours of work are: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 15:45 Pay rate: 21 Years old and over @ £13.21hr, 18-20 @ £11hr, 16-17 @ £8.55hr Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK and Ireland.
