Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025
The Role
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons.
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping children achieve their potential.
- Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help foster a supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including playground duties, enrichment activities, and school events.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
- Patient, adaptable, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Ideally experienced in working with children in an educational setting (though training can be provided).
- Confident in promoting literacy, numeracy, and social development.
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ideally has a minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent.
