This role is ideal for an experienced Support Worker or Care Assistant looking to take the next step in their career.
Shift Pattern
* 12‑hour day shifts: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm
* 42 hours weekly
* Every other weekend included
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence
* Licence held for more than 2 years
* Over the age of 25
Responsibilities
* Act as a role model by leading and supervising carers day‑to‑day, working alongside them and completing regular staff appraisals.
* Ensure good team working.
* Motivate, support and mentor the staff when needed.
* Organise staff allocations and breaks.
* Promote the professional image of the services through excellent communication, appropriate behaviour and professional appearance.
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills
* Commitment to working with vulnerable people and safeguarding responsibilities
* Effective decision making and judgement
* Strong planning and organisation skills
* Completed NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care (or equivalent)
* Achieves all Health & Safety standards
