Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEN Support) - Full Time
Location: Wellingborough
Start Date: September
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £95 per day
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Wellingborough on a full-time basis starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and those with behavioural challenges.
* Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN or behavioural needs.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
* Support the development of pupils' social and emotional skills.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and record progress, reporting to the SENCo and teaching staff.
* Promote pupil independence and self-esteem.
* Previous experience working with children with SEN and/or behavioural needs.
* Ability to build positive and nurturing relationships with pupils.
* Patience, resilience, and a calm, caring approach.
* A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
* A valid DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
* Competitive daily pay of £95.
* Consistent full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
