Senior .NET Developer - Belfast (Hybrid 2 days a week) - up to £65,000 Bonus We're working with an established client in the insurance space who are at a really exciting stage of digital transformation. With significant investment in technology, they are rebuilding core systems, modernising their platforms, and creating customer-facing solutions that will change how the business operates for years to come. As a Senior .NET Developer, you'll join a collaborative team responsible for designing and delivering modern applications using .NET, C#, and cloud-first technologies. You'll play a key role in shaping technical decisions, mentoring others, and contributing to an ambitious transformation programme. The Role Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale applications using .NET and C# Work closely with Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions Take ownership of features through the full SDLC, from design through to deployment and support Implement best practices in coding, testing, and CI/CD pipelines Contribute to cloud migration and integration projects (Azure preferred) Mentor and support junior developers within the team Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions Skills & Experience 5 years of commercial experience with .NET and C# development Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and RESTful service design Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Familiarity with cloud services (Azure preferred, AWS also considered) Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices (SOLID, design patterns, unit testing, CI/CD) Experience in agile teams delivering enterprise applications Desirable: exposure to microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, or front-end frameworks (React/Angular) What's on Offer Salary up to £65,000 bonus Hybrid working - 2 days a week in Belfast office Join an organisation at the forefront of digital transformation Strong investment in people, culture, and modern technologies Apply here or reach out to Aaron Somers at Ocho for more information via LinkedIn.
